Ministries & Special Events 

Coffee / Fellowship Time  Each Sunday, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, a period of fellowship will take place between Sunday School and the morning service. Beverages will be available in the Family Center. Many volunteers are needed to make this fellowship time a success. This is a great service opportunity for everyone including youth, couples or families. To join the team, pick up the information sheet at the Welcome Center and sign up!

OUTREACH  Please remember to sign up to help with food deliveries for Lighthouse Ministries one Saturday this year. See the sign-up sheet at the table by the choir room. Upcoming delivery dates: 9/18, 10/16, 11/13, 12/11. If you have any questions, please see Char Schienke.

Thank you to all who helped sew the love packs for Big Family of Michigan. Our total was 233! These bags will be collected throughout the year. If you would like to continue to sew bags or donate fabric, see Cheryl Ehrle.

Ladies Book Club is reading the Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis for the Saturday, September 18 kickoff (10:00 am). Although the book is a fun read, Lewis was said to have found writing it exhausting because he had to think upside-down in order to write it. So in the spirit of C.S. Lewis, our book club kickoff will be an "upside-down/backwards" event! What does this mean? You'll have to come to find out! Please join us for some lively discussion and good food with the ladies.

Library Reading Program  Hey, KIDS! Have you been reading this summer? Parents, you too can participate by putting your name in the jar after reading a book.

Please remember to ask for ministry labels when making a purchase at Family Christian Stores.

Macomb Christian Schools   is collecting "Box Tops for Education." There is a box at the Welcome Center to deposit them. The school receives 10 cents for each box top. There is a list of participating items that can be viewed at the Welcome Center as well.

Seniors Unlimited  The fall meeting will begin with a potluck on Thursday, September 9 @ 11:30 am. See the sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center.

  CHURCH CLOSING INFORMATION 

Any church shutdown  due to inclement winter weather will be done via a sign-up list and notification on this website (info will be placed on the HOME page).

There will be a sign-up at the Welcome Center for you to indicate if you would like to be notified via phone and/or e-mail.
